Why “2080”?
– It is a year toward the end of this century when following generations will inherit what we leave them. My view is that if a serious consideration in important decisions today were to be impacts in 2080, some very different decisions would be made.
– It is also a reference to the Pareto Principle, which can help guide focus of efforts. Both for individuals and society.
